Online counselling for people in Delhi
Living in Delhi NCR asks a lot of you: long commutes between Gurgaon, Noida and the city, demanding workplaces, competitive study, and a pace that rarely lets up. HopeLooom offers counselling online on Google Meet, so support fits into a Delhi life instead of adding another journey to it.
Why online counselling suits Delhi
No journey across the city. A 45-minute session shouldn't cost you two hours on the Ring Road or the Yellow Line. You join from home, a parked car, or a quiet room at work, anywhere in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad or Faridabad.
Times that fit real schedules. Available slots are shown live when you book, including early and evening times, so a session can sit before the workday starts or after it ends.
Privacy. Nobody sees you walk into a clinic, and nobody in a waiting room recognises you. Many people find it easier to open up from a space that already feels like theirs.
Continuity. If you split time between Delhi and your home town, or travel for work, sessions travel with you.
What people in Delhi bring to counselling
- Work stress and burnout in corporate, startup, government and consulting jobs, and the sense that slowing down isn't allowed
- Exam and career pressure: entrance coaching, university, the first job, the comparison that never switches off
- Relationship strain: partners, joint families, parents with expectations, long-distance relationships across cities
- Loneliness after moving to the city for work or study, especially in the first year
- Anxiety, low mood, difficulty sleeping, and drinking or smoking more than you'd like as a way of coping
You don't need to know which of these is "yours". A first consultation is a conversation about what has been happening and what you'd like to be different.
How it works
Choose a session type and a time on the booking page. Your booking is confirmed straight away by email, with a reminder before the session and a Google Meet link before you meet. A first consultation runs 45 minutes; follow-ups are usually weekly or fortnightly, decided together. Fees are shown before you confirm, and no payment is needed to book.
Counselling is with Somesh Saurav, an MSc Clinical Psychology graduate with supervised clinical experience across psychiatric hospitals, early intervention centres, rehabilitation settings and community organisations. His approach is warm, collaborative and non-judgemental.
What you can bring
The concerns people most often bring are described on their own pages: anxiety and stress, depression and low mood, substance use, and relationships and life changes.
If you need urgent help in Delhi

Questions people in Delhi ask
Do I need to visit a clinic in Delhi?
No. All sessions are online on Google Meet. You need a phone or laptop, a steady connection and a private place to sit; nothing else.
Is online counselling available across Delhi NCR?
Yes. Because sessions are online, it makes no difference whether you're in South Delhi, Dwarka, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad or anywhere else in the region.
What times are available?
Available slots are shown live on the booking page in Indian Standard Time. Early morning and evening times are often available; if nothing suits, call +91 83097 78275 and we'll try to find one.
Can I switch to in-person sessions later?
Sessions are currently online only. If you need in-person or more intensive care, Somesh will say so and help you think through the options in Delhi.
Is what I say confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between you and Somesh, with the few exceptions every counsellor works with: a serious risk to your life or someone else's, or where the law requires disclosure.
